Strawberry Music Festival

I loove music festivals and have been going to a few back home. It was good to hit this one up, and feel those friendly vibes again. Plus, now I can count myself as an international festivarian. I know I said this in my last post, but my favorite thing to do is make friends. When your traveling, everyone seems to be in the same boat and you make friendships quickly and easily because you know you only have a limited time to enjoy each others company. My friend Lacey joined me at the fest. We made some American friends on the bus and ended hanging with them all night. That's one skill that i've gained here, and I hope I can take it back home to the states. I can go up to anyone and speak with them, just crossing my fingers that they speak English. I guess i've been hurting socially here, but I love it. I love being this open, and I can't wait for more festivals this summer. I'm working for my friend Barb at her organic earing stand (http://www.organicearrings.com/this summer and she's confirmed for both Targhee shows, 4 corners, Folks fest, and Mountain Fair. The only problem is getting to these, my parents better get used to the idea of me trading or hitching for a ride. But Oh well, Festivals here I come!

The Wall pt. 2

I may continue to reminisce and post photos about this experience for many posts to come. I haven't gotten over what I was able to do and the beauty I was able to see. I miss it dearly, and I would love to go back and have another adventure with Fred and Heidi. I love how quickly you can make friends when traveling and hold those two very dear to my heart. If any of you get a chance to make your way to Beijing, hit up Dandelion Tours, you'll not regret it.

Woke up and watched the sunrise with my friend Luke. He was kind enough to document me and I was lucky enough to snap one or two decent shots of him.

Walking down the wall. It was a bit treacherous.

My Belgium friend, and tour guide Fred. I've been lucky enough to meet many people through my traveling that have inspired me never to go back to a boring life. There is so much opportunity around me and Fred even pointed out a few to me. Free schooling in Indonesia? That's a road I wouldn't mind taking.

Love walking through the rural little farm neighborhoods.

Stumbled upon a professional photo shoot on our way out. They were so kind to let us take photos and even asked my friend Niki and I to be in a few. More pictures to come.

Great Wall

Here are a few pictures from my recent camping trip to the Great Wall. The most beautiful sunset and sunrise i've ever seen, and one of the greatest experience of my life. I loved every moment of it, from eating brunch at a farmers house, hiking through thick blossoms in rural China, and seeing the stars for the first time in two months.
