Out of Touch

I began writing this post over the summer and it would seem a waste not to have a post about the most wonderful summer of my life. Here's a photo series i've been working during my time at Capitol Reef, a sort of rorschach test found in the scenery surrounding me.

What's your interpretation?

What a summer so far. I have made a new home at Capitol Reef National Park as an interpretive intern this season. I've been reading quite a bit of Edward Abbey and been spending most of my time exploring the crevices of the Waterpocket Fold along with venturing to Boulder mountain nearly every weekend. I've been surrounded by the most breathtaking views, had adventures and came into contact with some of the greatest people i've ever had the opportunity to meet. It's been phenomenal.

"May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds"
